Art in Resonance is The Peninsula's contemporary art programme — commissioned works installed inside a hotel that is itself a piece of Hong Kong heritage. The film had to serve the artwork first and the hotel second, without ever looking like a brochure.

The brief
Filming art in a working luxury hotel means no lighting rigs in public space, no closures, and no interruption to guests. The installations also change character with the daylight moving through the building — so timing mattered more than equipment.
Our approach
A single operator with a compact rig, shooting to available light in short windows across the day. Composition does the reverence: static frames, slow reveals, and a soundless grade that keeps attention on material and surface. Cut vertical-first for the programme's social audience.
