The Ritz-Carlton occupies the top of Hong Kong — literally. The work had two jobs: a destination film that earns the altitude, and a vertical weekend piece that makes a stay feel bookable this Friday.

The brief
Altitude photographs badly. Windows reflect, haze flattens the harbour, and the view can end up looking like a screensaver. The hotel also needed one shoot to produce two very different tones — cinematic for the destination film, immediate and warm for social.
Our approach
We shot the destination film to the clearest windows of the day and used polarisation and long lenses to keep the harbour legible. The vertical piece was shot separately in the same schedule with a looser, handheld energy — talent-led, in-room, made to feel like someone's actual weekend rather than a commercial.
Sizzle cut
Above the City
A short atmospheric cut of the strongest frames, built for site headers and paid placements.
Destination film
The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong
The hero film — arrival, rooms, dining and the view, cut cinematically.
Social film
The Weekend
Vertical social piece built around a stay, shot handheld and talent-led.
“One shoot, two films that do completely different jobs.”
